Farewell Ichiro

Ichiro Suzuki played his final MLB game the other night in a series against the Oakland A's to open the regular season in Japan. In a double header he went 0-5. Ichiro was the Rookie of the Year and MVP in 2001, becoming only the second person beside Fred Lynn to accomplish the the feat in the same year. He also had 10 straight seasons of winning a Gold Glove and 200 hits amongst his Allstar appearances and Silver Slugger Awards. His 3089 hits in the MLB will solidify his Hall of Fame case.
